9월 24일(일) 언러닝스페이스의 기획 전시와 프로그램 ⟪우징: 섬 안의 섬⟫의 연계행사로 홍이현숙 작가님의 관객참여형 퍼포먼스<바다생물 다라니 집체 낭독>을 진행합니다.

본 퍼포먼스에서는 참여자들이 함께 모여 바다생물들을 위한 다라니를 읊고 그들의 이름을 하나하나 호명한 후 그들을 온몸으로 받아들이는 몸짓을 수행합니다. 바다생물들을 호명하고 그에 따른 직관적인 움직임을 함께 만들며 공동생성의 무한한 확장을 경험합니다.

홍이현숙 작가는 가부장적 사회와 시선에 저항하는 여성주의적 담론을 퍼포먼스, 영상, 설치 등 다양한 매체로 이야기해왔으며, 비인간 존재와의 공생과 공멸, 소외된 존재와의 연대와 협력을 강조하는 메세지를 담은 작품을 선보여왔습니다. 한국 여성주의 미술의 대표 작가로 평가되는 홍이현숙은 다수의 개인전과 단체전, 관객참여형 퍼포먼스를 통해 예술적 상상을 함께 할 수 있는 장을 끊임없이 제안합니다.

The participants stand in the shape of a circle and recite dhārani and name the sea creatures. By calling out the names of marine life and embracing them, the participants intuitively move their bodies and feel the energy that emerges within. Through the repetition of gestures, they enter a state of trance, transcending their normal consciousness.

🐚 We will be sitting on the ground and moving around outdoor. Please join us with comfortable clothes.
